L’Histoire de Richaud NYC
(THE STORY OF RICHAUD NYC)
The Story
Richaud Valls, an actor, and producer, turned baker, made his “quarantine quest”, to recreate the baguette from his childhood in Paris, into a full-time business. Starting in his West Village apartment, mixing and baking batch after batch, he finally found the right combination, and voilà, he began building his business order by order delivering his baked goods by bike.
Richaud has since moved his baking operations to Benoit New York, a restaurant owned by the acclaimed Chef, Alain Ducassee, where he is the resident Boulanger, baking fresh baguettes and bread for dining service. Richaud continues to perfect his craft, offering fresh-baked, organic bread direct to customers via richaud.nyc as well as wholesale options for local restaurants.
About The Bread
Using only all organic ingredients and lots of love, these baguettes are truly delicieux. Rich in flavor with a perfectly crispy outside and a buttery, airy texture inside, these baguettes are the perfect complement to any meal, cheese board, or simply to enjoy on their own.
